Mixer Shower Fault Finder

• My shower drips from the shower head or/and shower valve:
• Shower valve requires seal kit or new cartridge.
  
• Water too hot:
• Cold water supply blocked or restricted?
• High volume of cold water may be getting drawn off elsewhere?
  
• Water too cold:
• Hot water supply blocked or restricted? Check the filters.
• Insufficient hot water supplies from the heating system.
  
• I have difficulty in turning my shower on/off the knobs are sticky:
• Shower valve requires seal kit or new cartridge.
  
• The temperature of my shower will not stay steady:
• Have boiler checked if combi type.
• May require new thermostat.
• May require new thermostatic cartridge.
  
• There is a poor flow of water from the showerhead:
• Clean showerhead.
• May be blocked or faulty hose.
• Inlet filters in shower valve may be dirty
